Ecotherapy in practice: hiking for mental health and well-being!

Maintaining a healthy relationship with nature is essential for our mental health and well-being. Exposure to nature will make you feel better emotionally and contribute to your physical well-being.  What is ecotherapy? Eco therapy is derived from ecopsychology and was defined by Clinebell. It is a form of environmental devout, also known as nature therapy or green therapy. The type of mental health therapy includes experiencing nature to improve the mental health system and nurture overall well-being. Ecotherapy implicates the idea that people are connected and impacted by the natural environment. Some of the common ecotherapy activities include: Nature meditation : this practice can be done in a natural setting such as parks and is mainly done as group therapy. Members of the groups spend time contemplating how the aspects of nature relate to them and what they can learn from it. Horticulture therapy : is the use of plants and garden-related activities, including planting seedlings,
